Frustration

Ich habe zwar einiges gesehen, kann aber mit vielem nichts anfangen. Ich bin kein Japaner. Juhu, Identität. Ich befand mich am Rande pseudo-psychologischer Erkenntnisse. Ich werde Japan sowieso nicht finden. Das weiß ich nun. Es ist keine Trophäe, die ich irgendwann in den Händen halten kann. Es ist nicht konstant, sondern voll vitaler Komplexität. Wie auch ich. Im Sinne Heraklits „Alles fließt“ darf ich meine Meinung ja auch wieder ändern. „Was hindert mich daran heute klüger aufzuwachen als ich gestern eingeschlafen bin?“ [Churchill]

Muss ich einen Sinn darin sehen, wenn jemand 17 Tage nicht schlafen kann und dann sein Auto umgeschmissen wird? Muss ich mich mit Katzenschlächtern beschäftigen, weil ich Literaturwissenschaften studiere? Murakami enttäuscht mich sowieso. Murakami ist so unjapanisch. Ständig Wiener Klassik, europäische Geschichte und griechische Tragödien. Was interessieren mich midlife-crisis-geplagte, Dosenbier-trinkende, Marihuana-rauchende Mittdreissiger?Erzählt er uns von regnenden Sardinen und Geistern in Schafsgestalt, weil sein Jazzclub nicht lief? Ich bin nicht klüger, weil ich nun weiß, wie Tokyos Vorortzüge heißen. Die Erwähnung von Miso-Suppen führt nicht zu Satori.

die erwähnung von miso-suppen mag inderdaad nicht zum satori führen. der glaube allerdings an eine japanische, deutsche, serbische oder wie auch immer geartete stabile 'identität' führt garantiert auch nicht dahin. auf welcher grundlage finden sie murakami 'unjapanisch'? wie würden sie auf eine solche klassifizierung reagieren, wenn sie statt dem bequemen 'ich bin kein japaner' von 'undeutsch', weil sie ja..., reden müssten/würden... fragen über fragen.
